Freewheel Remover FR-1
The Freewheel Remover FR-1 tool is the most common for multi speed bikes with a threadon freewheel. If you have a cassette with a lockring you need a cassette removal tool and chain whip tool.

12 splines, 22.6mm diameter fits Shimano, Sachs Aris, Sun Race, DNP Epoch and other 510 speed freewheels
The FR-1.3 includes an enlarged thru-hole to accommodate 14mm axles
Base of tool can be used with a 1″ socket or wrench
Loosens in a counterclockwise direction and usually requires lots of torque to remove.
Its better to not remove tire when removing a freewheel.
Also use your quick release skewer to hold the tool on whel you break it free to preven slippage if needed. Remove quick release to thread freewheel the rest of the way off
You may need to use a pipe to extende your wrenchs leverage.
