Bosch Speed Sensor Slim 615mm Drive Unit – Bosch eBike System 2

The Bosch Speed Sensor Slim (615mm) is a precision electronic component designed for modern e-bikes, ensuring accurate velocity data is transmitted to the drive unit. This “Slim” version features a low-profile design for discreet mounting on the chainstay, reducing the risk of impact from trail debris. It is a critical part for maintaining legal motor cut-off speeds and providing a natural, responsive pedal-assist feel.

Equipped with a 615mm cable and a dedicated connector, this sensor offers versatile fitment for a wide range of frame geometries. It is essential to distinguish between versions, as specific models are tailored for either the Bosch Smart System (post-2022) or the Bosch eBike System 2 (Gen 3 and Gen 4). This hard-wired sensor ensures a stable connection for interference-free speedometer readings and optimal system diagnostics.
