L03A Resin Disc Brake Pads with Cooling Fins

Resin coverings provide reduced noise when braking in dry and wet conditions. However, the wear is increased, and the temperature stability is somewhat limited. Shimano uses aluminum cooling fins on these brake pads, which dissipate the heat generated during braking and significantly reduce the tendency to overheat the brake system.
