Cane Creek 52/40MM +3MM 0-Crown Race

The Cane Creek 40-Series Spacer Crown Race is a specialized “problem-solver” designed to increase the stack height at the bottom of your headtube by 3mm. This effectively raises the axle-to-crown measurement, which is crucial for preventing fork adjustment knobs or the fork crown itself from striking the downtube on certain frame geometries.

Constructed from durable steel, this 52/40 crown race is built to withstand heavy trail use and features an integrated low-friction face seal to protect your lower headset bearing from grit and moisture. It is a perfect fit for 1.5″ tapered steerer tubes and is fully compatible with Cane Creek 10, 40, and 110-series headsets. Despite some erroneous technical listings, this is a precision-machined steel component and does not require a battery.
