DiaCompe 883 Front BMX brake caliper – brand new production. Features the new retro brake blocks and cone dress up nut on the pivot bolt. Model: 883 Approximate Reach: 68mm – 86mm Application: Front, side pull caliper Features: Quick release lever, Dia-Compe thumb adjuster Mounting hardware included. The thumb adjuster allows you to tighten up your brakes without a tool. This front bmx brake will work with the Odyssey Gyro and other quality BMX Freestyle parts.
NOTE: This is the same caliper as the “Nippons” from back in the day – but, since these are now made in Taiwan and not Japan, they no longer say “Nippon” on them. This was a popular quality brake used on the retro old school BMX Bikes from back in the 1980-1990s.
