Maxxis Reaver TR HyprX EXO Tire

The Maxxis Reaver is a tubeless-ready gravel racing tire built around the HYPR-X compound, which combines the low rolling resistance of the road-going HYPR rubber with the grip of MaxxSpeed from Maxxis mountain bike tires. Against the previous version, Maxxis claims 19 percent more cornering traction and 25 percent lower rolling resistance.

A 120 TPI foldable casing keeps the tire supple, and EXO protection guards the sidewalls against cuts and abrasion on rough ground. Diamond knurling across the centre tread holds speed on hard-packed surfaces, while paddle knobs grouped in threes add bite under braking. Closely spaced, staggered side knobs keep cornering grip consistent as the tire leans over.
