The Maxxis Severe is designed for cross-country racing in wet, muddy conditions. Its tread pattern features small, spiky knobs spaced widely apart to prevent mud collection on demanding courses.

Built for high-level XC race performance, the tire includes a 120 TPI casing with EXO protection and Tubeless Ready technology. The high-silica MaxxSpeed rubber compound lowers rolling resistance while improving wet traction, saving up to a minute over a 90-minute race.
