Rubber Rim Strip Rim Tape Rim Band

Rubber Rim StripsKeep your spokes from going through your tubes. These are stretchy rubber. Sold individually. 1.75 width is most common width. These are designed to cover the sharp areas of the rim around the spoke holes. You don’t want too wide or the tire will be blocked from seeding properly. You also don’t want too narrow, or the strip will push to the side on installation and expose the sharp spoke hole. Sharp spots on the rim will pop the inner tubes when the tube is pumped to a high pressure. Most all sizes available for bicycle rim protection.
