The Technique Hooker Brakes are made USA Made. Its currently available in several anodized colors. This brake is often sold out so if you want one now is the time. This is a Linear Pull Brake that works only with Linear Pull Brake Levers. Its brake pads have more than the usual amount of up/down adjustability. Kool Stop Thinline V brake Brake Pads are included. These pads have angling adjustability. You should have the pads contact the rim as much as possible. You want the pads to be flush to the rim or have the front of the pad touch first to reduse squeeking. Usually only cheap department store bikes have loud brake pads due to the low cost pad materials used and the miss alignment of the pad to the rim.
